The Ripken Experience Day 1

What an experience for Ryan and his teammates playing in the Ripken tournament in Aberdeen, Maryland.

First stop, Friday night team dinner at the Greene Turtle followed by a night swim in the indoor pool of our hotel. 

Game one Saturday morning was a win 13 to 9 against the White Marsh Warriors! Ryan played awesome. Solid hits on offense and on defense played center and left field. Best part of the game was all our fans in the stands including our new baby cousin Cal! 

Second game, we mercied the United baseball team winning 21 to 1. Ryan had two almost homeruns- resulting in doubles. He played center field most of the game. Batted #5. Charlie was a big hit with all the baseball sister fans and the Greek food truck was the spot for an awesome lunch in between games! Nana took some amazing action shots of Ryan in the field and at bat.

Before ending a busy day- the kids did another swim in the pool, played ball in the parking lot and we walked back to Greene’s for dinner. The boys ended the night with a special tournament gift from a teammates Grandpa- Grandpa Hulsy, all the boys got Ripken T-shirts!
