We officially have a teenager in the house!! Thomas is such a well-rounded, smart, handsome, athletic and kind young man. He is definitely a family-man and great big cousin. I’m so happy he still says “yes” to dinners out with the family, playing silly-kid games with his cousins and hanging downstairs with us to watch a family movie or play card game. Although, his phone and FT with this gf and friends is something “new” that he enjoys doing— he is great at balancing family time, sports and school with his social life.
He loves cooking and helping out around the house— whether he is whipping up a weekend breakfast of eggs, smoothies and pancakes or helping Joe in a home repair, building of furniture or mowing the lawn— he is a big help to the entire family. When he isn’t home, he loves walking around town with friends and getting pizza at Tony’s then is off to the fields to play football, basketball or baseball. His most favorite place is definitely the shore. A true beach baby ever since he touched the water— Thomas is such an amazing surfer and loves being in the ocean and has no problem with an 8+ hour beach day, as long as there is a quick Wawa break involved. He has taken to not only buying surf boards and collecting all different sizes and styles but also enjoys waxing them and repairing them when a little wear and tear happens. He is self taught in maintaining his fiber glass board and has all the tools he needs to make repairs. His big gift from the family this year was a beach cruiser bike which has already gotten tons of use!
We can’t wait to see what this next year has in store for Thomas if he keeps working hard, giving his all and takes on new challenges and friendships— at school, on the field and socially. 7th grade here comes Thomas!
