5th Grade Moving Up Ceremony

It’s the end of an era! No more elementary school 🥹 I officially have two middle schoolers. Where did the time go!? Congratulations to my Ryan Americo!

Ryan, we are so proud of you to say the least. You’re not only a good kid with a big heart (SNAP special needs ambassador program) but you’re kind ( just don’t always like to show your softer side), extremely funny ( and quick the sarcastic comments), athletic ( competitive nature  and playing sports is definitely your thing) and have always done well in school ( naturally smart boy who loves to read).

This past year, you have proven you are one of the best of the best—when it comes to sports — not only being selected to play on the “A” teams ( in a very large town comprised of 5 elementary schools) but then winning conference championship games in all three seasons- Wildcats tackle football superbowl champs, Junior Basketball League (JBL) division champs and USABL baseball little league champs.

But aside from sports, reading and writing come easy to you and so does your love of history and finance. Now that we have finally moved past writing about football and Patrick Mahomes, Greek mythology has become your favorite genre of books.

As you are navigating middle school life, be open to new friendships and surrounding yourself with people that make you feel good. Keep the level of competition on the field and court strong, while being a good sport and being positive and humble. And make sure your academics are a priority— always give a little more than asked  and pushing yourself to go a little further than what is required of you.

Happy 5th grade graduation day!🎓 You did it, you made it through elementary school without a cell phone! We love you so much, Ryan. We are going to have the best summer together, just maybe not on the beach as much lol but definitely on the baseball field watching you do your thing ❤️  Such a happy day!

FMS here Ryan comes!
