Summer Road Trip

The boys and I decided to leave the beach for a few days and take a last minute adventure and visit with family.

First stop was Baltimore to visit with Uncle Greg & Aunt Krystal. Great way to break up the drive since Baltimore this was the perfect half way point to VA. Took us under 3 hours to arrive on Wednesday.

Greg always takes us to the best spots! This place had amazing deep dishes pizza, home made mozzarella sticks and risotto balls... not too mention FREE old school arcade games!  Very happy boys... who didn't have to sit to eat dinner for too long after sitting in the car all afternoon.
Bye Uncle Greg...see you again in a few days on our way back from VA!

Next stop, VA to see Grandpa & Grandma Lynn's new house and pay them a visit before fall sports start!

And... the boys favorite part of the new house, a built in splash pad across the street!

So fun, having Aunt Mandi and the boys come over for lunch and to play in the backyard.

The boys loved walking Penny in the woods!

Trampoline fun at Aunt Mandi's! Thankfully, Hudson was able to keep up with these guys!

Making homemade pizzas for dinner! Aunt Mandi went all out making homemade dough!

Pool time at Grandma Lynn and Grandpa's  pool! The slide was everyone's favorite part.

I think the boys had enough ice cream to last them all summer long! Grandma Lynn certainly had a big ice pop offering!

Running in the sprinkler in the rain storm!
And a rainbow after the storm!
Back in Baltimore and at our favorite place, Lee's! So happy Joe came to meet us for the day!

Another great spot Greg & Krystal took us too! The " Sand Lot" was the perfect place for the boys to run around, play volleyball,  hang on the swings and watch the boats while we had cocktails. Nice way to end our weekend being outside!

Till next time Baltimore! Such a fun road trip!
