Thomas got a "random act of kindness" award at school on Friday.
Alfred Vail has a "caught you being kind campaign" and last week his teacher caught Thomas cleaning up someone's lunch without anyone asking and he brought the kid his lunchbox that was mistakenly left behind.
When the students receive these tickets they get placed in a drawing and at the end of each month, the principal draws a ticket and those lucky students get to have lunch with the principal that day!
