Thomas woke up very excited!Joe did the drop off this am. Thomas told him he was taking to long in the car ( joe did not want to be the first one there) that he needed to go in and meet his teacher! And then Thomas put his stuff away and ran over to play so joe just left. No tears or goodbye said.
I did the pick up and was so excited to leave work and get him ( secretly hoping to see him in action playing before he saw me). He was so cute sitting on the carpet playing in a circle with a bunch of kids. Maybe 10-15 kids in the class. The Teacher said he did fine for not knowing the routine. Pee once in the toilet- no accidents. Finished all of his lunch and told the teacher not to throw away his new lunch bag ( i bought him a new lunch bag from Potterybarn with his name on it as a little present). He was good with the other kids. And once he saw me ( took all of 2 seconds) I got a Big hug and he said lets go home.
All and all great first day!
And P.S. the bag is bigger than him because they require you to pack so much ( exta clothes, extra shoes, towel, lunch, etc..)
