In keeping with our own little family traditions, we spent Christmas eve at home waiting for Santa. Grandma, Grandpa, Uncle Mat, Kristen, Uncle Ricky, Uncle Dave and Aunt Sam all joined us.
Our menu was delicious-- we had shrimp cocktail, assorted cheese platter and spinach dip for our 1st course, New England Clam Chowder and Crab Cakes for our 2nd course and Lobster ravioli and Penne with Vodka sauce and a Spring Salad for our main course. Saving the best for last, I made a homemade Italian cheesecake and we had tons of homemade Christmas cookies and pastries from the bakery.
The night was filled with lots of laughs, Christmas games, and presents from Grandma and Grandpa.
Right before bedtime, we read the Night Before Christmas and then got all the house all cleaned up for Santa.
I think Ryan had a very nice 1st Christmas!
