A brief departure today from my normal "Thomas blogs"....
So although the recent weather has made us believe winter was long over awhile ago... According to the farmers almanac the first official day of spring was March 20th this year.
To me, the first sign of spring is when my (barely alive) cherry tree blossoms.
I loved this tree when we bought our house (about 2 1/2 years ago) and since I (against Joe's advise) built our patio around the cherry tree... This tree better continue to blossom every year!
See... If you squint and look real real hard you can see a few pink blossoms!
Aren't the bare and brittle branches and tiny pink flowers just beautiful :)
